|
|
I upgraded this past weekend to LWA 2.1.0. The two toolbar buttons in IE7 show the correct icons for adding a web page to LWA and for starting LWA, but the verbiage aligned with each icon is identical. The wording on both says "Add to Local Website Archive". One of the text phrases should say "Start Local Website Archive" (if I recall how it worked under LWA 2.0.3).
I can remove the icons and text from IE7 by going into LWA and deselecting the option in "Preferences", but when I reactivate the IE7 toolbar support (in LWA Preferences), I get the same confused (duplicate) wording.
Note: The icons in IE7 are correct. One shows the add icon and the other shows the start icon. It's just the text description for each is identical.
Any suggestions appreciated.
Thanks! |

Yes, you're right. It's a "typo" and has been introduced in v2.1.0, will be fixed in the next version.
You can also change this text by changing the registry.
Run regedit.exe and go to the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Extensions\
Then search the entry that contains "Exec = ....\wsarc.exe" and change the entry "ButtonText" to "Start Local Website Archive". _________________ Martin Aignesberger [SUPPORT] |

| The registry change fixed it for me. Thanks for the quick feedback! |
