Add bookmarks directly from your Browser
A further and comfortable method to add new bookmarks directly from your browser is WebSite-Watcher's browser integration:
- WebSite-Watcher button in the window caption of your browser
If WebSite-Watcher is running, then a small button in the window caption of your browser is displayed. Pressing this button pops up a menu from where you can add the currently opened page to WebSite-Watcher. This method works with Internet Explorer, Firefox, Mozilla, Opera and many other Internet Explorer based browsers.
- Right-click menu in Internet Explorer
If you are using Internet Explorer (or another Internet Explorer based browser), then you can add the currently opened page via the document's right-click menu. WebSite-Watcher must not be running in that case. If WebSite-Watcher is closed, then the context menu entry 'Add to WebSite-Watcher' will start it automatically.
- Drag&Drop browser tabs to folder
A quick and comfortable way to insert new bookmarks is to drag&drop browser tabs from the internal browser to the folder list.
- Add RSS/Atom feeds
When you see a
or a
image in a web page, WebSite-Watcher can add the underlying feeds by clicking these images. RSS/Atom feeds are usually defined with the feed: protocol, addresses with that prefix can be handled with the default RSS feed aggregator functionality.
